Honor is giving a spoiler of its Android 17-based software iteration – MagicOS 11, which will bring an enhanced AI privacy screen feature. The company says this new capability will cover many devices and shield users’ data from being spied on.
MagicOS 11 will launch in late September, alongside the Magic 9 series. Honor has started its closed beta program and is revealing its key upgrades one by one.
In the latest edition, the firm has dropped a spoiler on an advanced AI privacy screen feature coming with MagicOS 11. It is said to be better than the current version.
Honor has been rolling out an AI anti-peeping feature with MagicOS 10 to its flagship devices. But it seems the company is now up with an improved capability.
Per the details, the new feature will conduct a smart identification of the device’s owner. Under this process, AI algorithms will intelligently recognize the user’s identity and warn via reminders or emoji notifications if strangers are peeking at the screen.
The new addition is perfect for privacy-conscious users who often think twice before using their devices in an elevator, subway, or at a crowded place.
Honor further shared how users can activate the new AI anti-peeping feature after installing MagicOS 11 on their devices. All you have to do is go to Settings and enter the Privacy & Security section. Now select Screen Protection > turn on the toggle.
The company has also posted an image, revealing a cute animated puppy asking, “Who is looking at me?”, and interactively warning users.
