Six people have been taken to hospital following a serious collision in Armagh on Wednesday morning.
The emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, were sent to the incident on Newtownhamilton Road at 8.57am.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service has said five emergency ambulances, two HART Teams, an emergency planning officer and an ambulance doctor were also sent to the scene.
One casualty was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast while another was taken by ambulance. Four patients were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance.
A NIAS spokesperson said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 08:57 on Wednesday, 2nd September, following reports of an RTC in the Newtownhamilton Road area, Armagh.
“NIAS tasked 5 Emergency Ambulances, 2 HART Teams, an Emergency Planning Officer, an Ambulance Doctor and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board, to the incident.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was brought to Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast by Ambulance. 1 patient was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital by Air Ambulance. 4 patients were brought to Craigavon Area Hospital by Ambulance.”
