New Delhi, India — LAVA has partnered with SW Network to support the Indian smartphone brand’s expansion into the UK with the launch of its AGNI 4N, using a creator-led campaign to introduce the brand to British consumers.

The campaign aims to position LAVA as a consumer-first smartphone brand in the UK while presenting the AGNI 4N as an alternative to the everyday frustrations associated with smartphones.

Titled ‘SAM Survivors Support Group’, the campaign features UK creators Deji Olatunji, Harry Pinero, Max Khadar, Joe Weller and Cariad Ryan as they share humorous smartphone frustrations before discovering the AGNI 4N.

“The brief was to introduce AGNI 4N to a new audience in the UK and communicate its strengths in a way that didn’t feel like a conventional smartphone campaign. We wanted to find a simple human insight that could give us a strong creative platform and make the product naturally part of the story,” said Raghav Bagai, Co-founder at SW Network.

“That led us to the idea of looking at the everyday frustrations people have learned to live with and turning them into something entertaining,” Bagai added.

“As Lava enters the UK market, we wanted to introduce the brand with transparency and relatability. The campaign reflects the true essence of our brand persona, consumer-first, confident and setting out to change the experience quotient in the mid-tier segment,” said Puravansh Maitreya, Head of Marketing at LAVA International Limited.

“The AGNI 4N is designed to give consumers an experience free of compromise, and this campaign brings that thought alive in a way that is easy to comprehend, with a little fun,” Maitreya concluded.

Meanwhile, Shubham Chawla, Business Head at Youthbeat, said, “Over the last two years, we’ve seen a significant shift in the global creator ecosystem, with YouTube emerging as a major platform of choice for creators worldwide. For this campaign, we wanted to go a step further and bring together some of the UK’s biggest and most distinctive creative voices.”

“Their understanding of humour, character and storytelling helped us translate the idea into a world that feels recognisably British while remaining universal. The scale of the talent also reflects the ambition behind taking an Indian brand to a global audience,” added Chawla.

“The idea gave us a lot of room to play with character and performance,” shared Jaunty, Producer and Director at Banana in a Suit (BIAS Studios). “Shooting in London with a UK cast helped us ground the support group in a world that felt authentic and instantly recognisable. At the same time, working on the ground in London gave us the opportunity to bring together local talent and a global production,” Jaunty continued.

The campaign will run across the UK through influencer-led videos, OOH placements and social media, extending the campaign film and AGNI 4N product story across multiple consumer touchpoints.
