It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Gerard (Ginger) Cronin, Meadowlands Close, Old Cork Road, Limerick and formerly of Cross Roads, Thomondgate, Limerick. Ex De Beers, Thomond Rugby Club and Ballynanty Rovers F.C.
On September 2nd 2026, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by brother Richard and parents Lily and Dick Cronin.
Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, children Veronica, Conor, Paul and Louise, grandchildren Kara, Tadhg, Max, Lee-anne, Ryan and Alex, great grandchildren Tilly and Fiadh, daughter-in-law Jessica, sons-in-law Declan and Joe, sisters Elizabeth, Pauline and Mary, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral will arrive Friday, September 4th, at St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 12pm. Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
