Radiohead have officially confirmed their long-awaited return to Australia, announcing a massive 16-show tour for 2027.
The British rock legends will play their first Australian shows in 15 years, beginning with a four-night run at Perth’s RAC Arena from May 3rd before heading to Melbourne and Sydney for six shows in each city. See full dates below.
The announcement follows months of speculation about an Australian return, fuelled in part by guitarist Ed O’Brien, who told Rolling Stone earlier this year that the band hoped to make it back Down Under. “We’d love to come to Australia,” O’Brien said at the time. “It’s just a question of when.”
Now, fans finally have their answer. The 2027 dates will mark Radiohead’s first Australian tour since 2012 and follow the band’s run of European residency shows in November and December 2026.
Radiohead returned to the stage for those shows after several years away from touring, having last toured extensively behind their ninth studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool, released in 2016.
The newly announced Australian run will see Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Philip Selway, and O’Brien settle into each city for multiple nights rather than embark on a traditional national arena tour.

To manage demand, fans will need to register for access to the ticket sale, with the process covering both general and accessible tickets. Registration opens at 5pm today (September 7th) and closes at 5pm on Thursday, September 10th. All times are AEST. Register for tickets here.
