Eileen McLaughlin (nee Herron), 6th September 2026, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Formerly of Lavery Fold and Templegrove, Derry.
Beloved wife of the late Michael, precious mother of Michèle, Fearghal, Léan, Ciara and the late Ann-Marie, darling sister of Seán, Gerard, Jim and the late Bebe, Anna, Mairead and Hugh, loving granny of Mark, Ellen, Eve, Aaron and Jonas, and dear mother-in-law of Tony, Mark and Salima.
Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends.
Eileen will be reposing in her daughter Léan’s home, 18 Greenhaw Manor, BT48 7FD from 2 pm on Monday.
The Rosary will be said on both evenings at 9.30 pm. House private after the Rosary until 12 noon.
Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.25 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral.
Interment afterwards in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Inch Island.
