Call her maybe, Connor Storrie.

Carly Rae Jepsen revealed she named her newborn son Ilya after the character in the show “Heated Rivalry,” which is played by Storrie.

Jepsen, 40, said she was a fan of the hockey romance in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter published Tuesday.

“It was an incredible show,” she said. “Ilya is the name of my son. Maybe, not maybe because of that show.”

She also shared that it would be a “dream” for her to do a song for Season 2 of the hit Crave series, after “Heated Rivalry” director and fellow Canadian Jacob Tierney said on the “What Chaos!” podcast that he wanted to ask her to write an original song.

Jepsen welcomed baby Ilya in March with her husband, music producer Cole M.G.N.

The couple got married in October 2025 in an intimate ceremony at the Chelsea Hotel’s Bard Room, with the wedding being officiated by her aunt and uncle. 

The “Run Away With Me” singer and the 41-year-old music producer — whose full name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill  — have been in a relationship since 2022.

Meanwhile, “Heated Rivalry” turned into a surprise runaway hit when it debuted in November 2025. The show, which also stars Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander, is based on the books by Rachel Reid and follows the story of two professional hockey players’ secret romance that spans years.

The show has an intense fandom, and in March, Williams as well as co-star Francois Arnaud — who plays Scott Hunter in the show and faced online harassment after he was briefly linked romantically to Storrie — hit back at toxic fans of the show.

“Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynistic/ageist/ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind. None of us need your hateful ‘love,’” they posted in an Instagram Story.

“We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side if you can’t accept that gtfoh,” the message continued.

The series’ popularity shows no signs of slowing down ahead of its second season, which is set to be released in April 2027.

The show is currently filming in Toronto, and Storrie was recently spotted working out at the Shangri-la hotel with four security guards.

“A year ago, or even at last year’s TIFF [Toronto International Film Festival], few would have been able to pick Connor or his co-star Hudson Williams out of a police line up,” Toronto social columnist Shinan Govani told Page Six Hollywood.

“But the fervor over ‘Heated Rivalry,’ which is in the midst of shooting its second season now in the city, has caused so much pandemonium and neck-turning, it’s hard to believe anyone at the film festival will be able to compete. They kinda own TIFF this year.”
