If you’ve binged through The Gentlemen and fancy more Guy Ritchie fare, then you’re in luck as his recent movie In the Grey has just dropped on Prime Video. The film focuses on an elite team of operatives, who are sent on a mission to steal back a fortune from a despot.

While it appears to be a suicide mission, the heist starts to descend into a war of survival, deception and strategy.

Boasting an A-list cast that includes Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, Eiza González, Rosamund Pike and Kristofer Hivju, fans can now catch In the Grey on Prime Video after it was added today.

The movie skipped UK cinemas, so this is the first release for viewers in Britain, while the movie hit US cinemas back in May.

The film was called “impressive” and “a lot of fun” by one fan on IMDb, who added: “Believe it or not, there were a few laughs mixed in there as well.”

“In the Grey plays exactly to its strengths-tight storytelling, sharp pacing, and a tone that never feels out of place. It’s confident without trying too hard, and that’s where it wins,” another fan beamed.

A third added: “In the Grey is just a really fun watch – honestly, one of those movies you can throw on with zero expectations and end up having a great time. We loved it.”

However, not everyone was impressed, one person labelling it “mediocre at best”, “a waste of time” and “honestly disappointing coming from someone as talented as Guy Ritchie”.

Another echoed: “It’s a far stretch from the guy Ritchie movies I grew up on. The simple fact that they’re explaining everything they’re going to do before doing it makes the movie lack any real buildup.”

The Gentlemen recently dropped its second season, while the Netflix show has been renewed for a third run.

In the Grey is streaming on Prime Video. The Gentlemen seasons 1-2 are streaming on Netflix.
