Dovetail say its latest collection is “smarter, lighter, stronger and more comfortable than ever.”

The women’s workwear brand recently launched the Graphene Collection, a line of work pants infused with graphene technology. The John Deere collaborator partnered with Chinese mill Freedom Denim for the 10 oz. and 13 oz. graphene denim used in the collection.

Graphene, which is essentially a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal pattern, makes denim fabrics three times stronger than conventional alternatives. The carbon nanomaterial is infused into each fiber at the molecular level, giving fabric a permanent boost in performance. Dovetail says his integration retains the original weight and stretch of the fibers while delivering “game-changing benefits” like strength and enhanced temperature regulation to keep wearers comfortable in any season.

“It’s not enough to have durability,” said Sara DeLuca, Dovetail co-founder and VP of product development. “Women need fabrics that move, breathe, and stay comfortable all day. Our mission is to deliver all of that in workwear worthy of our hardest-working customers. With the Graphene Collection, we hit the bullseye.”

For several years, performance-driven brands like Reebok, Vollebak, and Graphene-X have been drawn to graphene, incorporating it into a wide range of apparel and footwear. Denim mills—including Candiani, Orta, Calik, Advance and Arvind—have also been eager to explore the material’s benefits. Dovetail says its collection is a “first to market” for women’s workwear.

Dovetail’s collection offers three “purpose-built” styles in sizes 00-24 and four inseam options. Styles include the straight-leg mid-rise Britt X; the Old School High Rise, and the Maven X, a slim leg mid-rise.

All pants feature front reinforcements for durability, multiple deep functional pockets and Dovetail’s signature fit designed for women who work.

The collection is available now on Dovetail’s website and at select retailers. Pants retail for $109.
