It’s been almost a decade since Hilary Duff was sitting front row at a fashion week runway, but the Disney Channel alum embraced a sartorial risk for a surprise Milan Fashion Week appearance on Wednesday, September 24. Rubbing shoulders with fellow glitterati and fashion insiders, including designer Silvia Venturini Fendi, Duff brought a whimsical version of dopamine dressing to Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
Taking in the Italian designer’s vibrant designs alongside Shailene Woodley, the Cinderella Story actress looked festive in a bright red shirt that featured an oversized fit and baggy sleeves that were rolled up at her elbows. A dark brown trim encircled her crewneck design and trimmed her cuffed sleeves. Duff tucked her bright red top into a mint green pencil skirt, which had black-lined zippers running down the sides as well as a thigh-high slit in the back. The Lizzie McGuire star complemented her holiday-inspired color combination with more bright hues. A vivid turquoise stone ring added a pop of color to her fingers, which were decorated with a bi-tonal olive green and orange manicure. As the mom-of-four posed for pictures, she also showed off a hot Barbie pink woven purse with a netting-inspired design that showed off its contents inside.

The Younger actress added some sparkle with gold statement earrings, a gold bracelet, and a diamond tennis bracelet. Styling her long blonde hair in soft, middle-parted beachy waves, Duff looked ready for summer with a sun-kissed complexion, a deep orange eyeshadow, peachy blush, and a matte nude hue on her lips.

Hilary Duff recording music with husband Matthew Koma
Duff’s Milan Fashion Week appearance comes just days after she teased a return to music. The “So Yesterday” singer recently announced that she’d signed with Atlantic Records and will be filming a docuseries about her return to music for the first time in a decade. Her upcoming album, which will be her first new music since 2015’s Breathe In, Breathe Out, doesn’t have a release date just yet. However, Duff upped the ante on her announcement by sharing a photo dump on September 9 of her recording in a music studio. Dressed in a white graphic T-shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers for her announcement, the star was all smiles while hugging her husband Matthew Koma, who appeared to be playing part of a new song on piano.
