Irish Lotto players are being urged to check their tickets after one lucky punter bagged a life-changing prize in Wednesday night’s draw.
In total, over 60,000 players won prizes in tonight’s Lotto draws, including one punter who matched all six numbers plus the bonus number in the Lotto Plus 1 draw to scoop the €1 million jackpot.
The winning numbers in Wednesday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw were 5, 23, 27, 28, 33, 44 and the bonus number was 36.
The jackpot winner wasn’t the only player to land a huge sum in Wednesday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw, as another punter scooped the Match 5 + Bonus prize worth €5,000.
Meanwhile, in the main Lotto draw, where there was a jackpot worth a whopping €4.4 million up for grabs, the numbers called were 1, 9, 14, 27, 30, 44 and the bonus number was 18.
While the jackpot in this draw went unclaimed, 17 players did match five correct numbers to win €1,264 each.
And in the Lotto Plus 2 draw, the winning numbers were 8, 12, 20, 31, 43, 47 and the bonus number was 34.
The €250,000 top prize on offer in this draw went unclaimed, although 15 players did pocket €250 each after matching five correct numbers.
There were also 60 winners of the Raffle Prize, with each player receiving €500. The winning Raffle number was 3761.
The National Lottery is urging Lotto players across Ireland to check their tickets to see if they are the lucky jackpot winner.
If you hold a winning ticket that you bought in a shop, you must claim your prize within 90 days of the applicable draw date.
