The wool market rallied again this week, with the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) advancing 25 cents its ninth straight weekly rise, the longest run since 2009.

Both selling days recorded increases, extending the daily rally to 16 consecutive sessions, the longest since AWEX records began in 1997.

The EMI is now at its highest level since March 2023.

Auctions followed a familiar pattern, with 29,923 bales offered across two days in Sydney and Melbourne and one in Fremantle.
