Big Brother 2025 is finally here, but what time is it on, how long is it on for and what are presenter AJ Odudu’s wedding plans?

The regular version of Big Brother featuring members of the public returns after the celebrity edition aired earlier in the year on ITV.

It was a series that made plenty of headlines, with Micky Rourke removed from the house and Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa meeting before eventually becoming a couple.

Following 19 days of drama, Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd was crowned the winner of the series in April.

Will Best and AJ Odudu will be back on presenting duties on Sunday (September 28) for the normal version of the ITV series, where ordinary citizens become housemates.

ITV began airing Big Brother in 2023, in a series won by Jordan Sangha, after it last aired on Channel 5 in 2019.

With the series going down a storm, the 2024 edition saw members of the public declare Ali Bromley as the winner with Marcello Spooks finishing in second place.

The new season of Big Brother gets underway at 9pm on Sunday night, airing on ITV2 and available to stream on ITVX.

Running until 10.30pm, when Big Brother: Late and Live will air, the live launch will be repeated on ITV1 at 10.15pm.

Airing all week, except for Saturdays, from 9pm to 10pm, Friday, October 3, will see the first Live Eviction air as the first contestant is sent home.

How long will Big Brother be on?

As with every other year, the cast of Big Brother is being kept under wraps until viewers are introduced to them during the live launch.

This year’s show is expected to run for seven weeks, which is one week longer than previous ITV runs of the beloved series.

Viewers in Ireland were left stunned this week when it was confirmed that Big Brother won’t be airing on Virgin Media for the first time since its revival.

Who is AJ Odudu getting married to?

AJ announced her engagement to Peter Gibson during the summer, having not gone public with their relationship prior to this.

Peter, who is originally from Idaho but living in New York, is an art director who is said to work for brand agency Wieden + Kennedy, who also have offices in London and Mexico.

The pair’s engagement was announced through a post on AJ’s Instagram, where she wrote ‘Hiya love’, followed by a heart, ring and puppy eyes emoji.

A source told The Sun: “He’s [Peter’s] now planning a move to the UK so that he and AJ can live together and properly set themselves up for the future.

“With many strings to his bow as an art director and creator, it made more sense for Pete to relocate, especially given AJ’s career has taken off to new heights in the UK.”

One person who appears to know more than most is Will, who teased he will have a role to play on their big day.

He told The Sun this week: “I’ve DJed AJ’s birthday parties many times, and I’ve always done a garage hour.

“Her last one, I couldn’t make it because I had a job up in Manchester, and she was on a mission to convince me to get a cab back to London for 2am to do the garage hour two till three, then taxi back to Manchester.”

He continued: “Every event is improved by a garage hour. If she wants me, I’m there. We started working together in 2014, and our original show that we did together was just sitting on a sofa chatting, so in a way, we have kind of gone full circle.”

Will has been in a relationship with his fiancée Tobi Rose since 2010, also deciding to keep his partner out of the spotlight.
