Boyzone legend Ronan Keating raised a glass to Muff yesterday as he checked in on his investment in the Muff Liquor Co. Brand Home.
Ronan is one of the star investors in the award-winning Inishowen spirits company, alongside Russell Crowe, Ryan Tubridy, Nathan Carter, Jimmy Carr and Ed Sheeran. Together, they are nicknamed the Muff Liquor Men, much to the amusement of comedian Jimmy Carr!
The bar of the Muff Liquor Company was buzzing on Sunday as Ronan met and chatted with locals and sampled some of the product.

Ronan’s previous visit to Muff was for the brand home’s grand launch in July 2024. Since opening, the centre has been offering popular tours, tastings, and events while sharing the mischievous story of the brand.
The Muff Liquor Company was founded by Greencastle woman Laura Bonner, who was inspired by her grandfather Philip McClenaghan’s poitín-making heritage to create her own range of spirits from potatoes.
Laura said, “For Ronan to visit us again in Muff was such a fantastic moment. A year on from launch, he got to see our visitor centre thriving and discover what’s new, including our exciting Cherry Bomb product coming soon. We’re so grateful to have him on board and thrilled he could meet some of our locals for a selfie or two along the way!”
Claire Canning, Brand Home Manager, said: “Having Ronan stop by was a wonderful surprise! His energy and passion for the brand are infectious. He spent time chatting with the team and guests, creating a lively buzz. It’s an evening we won’t be forgetting anytime soon!”

Ronan then went to The Treehouse in Muff to relax, where Chef Shaun and manager Joseph looked after him and his crew with a lovely meal.
Ronan is touring all along the West Coast as he films a documentary with the BBC on the Wild Atlantic Way. His Donegal stops also included Donegal Town, where he sang on stage at The Abbey Hotel with Claudia Buckley on Saturday night.
