The former ‘Cope’ supermarket in Burtonport has gone on the market with an asking price of €100,000.
The property is being offered for sale by Campbells Auctioneers, via the iamsold Bidding Platform.
It is described as a ‘fantastic investment opportunity’ for those looking to establish a business in the west Donegal fishing village.
“The internal floor area of the property is approximately 350m2, providing ample space for a variety of business ventures,” they said.
“While the property requires a complete internal fit-out, it has the option of being used as two separate units if the purchaser decides to split it, as two sets of doors have been installed”.
Last month, the current owner submitted plans to Donegal County Council to convert the old store for three domestic dwellings.
The old ‘Cope’ was placed on the market in 2022 with a €70,000 price tag.
