A series co-created by a Kerry man will soon be streamed all around the world on Disney.
The series, BeddyByes, was created and produced by JAM Media’s John Rice, who’s from Abbeydorney, and Alan Shannon.
It’s an animated series for preschoolers that supports healthy sleeping habits.
Each episode follows a familiar daily routine that’s easy for young children to follow, and a calming journey to sleep with soothing music and comforting visuals.
The series premiered on RTÉ Player and the BBC iPlayer earlier this year, but will now be watched all over the world on Disney+ and Disney Jr television, premiering early next year.
John Rice, CEO and co-founder of JAM Media, who’s from Abbeydorney, says the annual Dingle Animation Festival played an important role in getting the deal with the global media giant.
