It is with mixed emotions that Alanna Kelleher closed the doors on The Fertha Bar in Cahersiveen last week.
Marking the end of the family business in existence for 37 years it has been without doubt an emotional week for the Cahersiveen woman, who has spent almost every waking hour trying to run the business, but has to finally make the decision that the long hours and difficult trading conditions are no longer viable for her and her family shutting the doors on the well-known south Kerry pub.
