As Nicole Kidman navigates this unexpected divorce from her husband of nearly 20 years, Keith Urban, it turns out that one of her and her ex, Tom Cruise’s, children has been looking out for her.
For those who don’t know, Kidman and Cruise met on the set of the hit film Days of Thunder and tied the knot a year later on Christmas Eve in 1990. They worked together on-screen again for the western film Far and Away two years later, and again in 1999 for Eyes Wide Shut. They adopted two children together, named Isabella Jane and Connor, before divorcing in 2001.

Now, Closer Online UK claims that Bella has actually been helping her mom out through a lot of these recent changes.
“Bella has been a huge cheerleader for her. She has had a front seat to this split and she encouraged Nicole to take a hard stance and take the legal steps to separate. Nicole was keeping the marriage on life support and it was sucking the soul out of her,” the insider said, noting “It has been quite a strange turn of events to have them supporting her through her split from Keith but everyone knows they weren’t huge fans of Keith and with him gone things are likely to get even better between them and Nicole.”
As fans know, Kidman was in Europe for quite a while over the summer, especially setting up her residency in Portugal. But turns out, she was also in Europe to allegedly spend time with her daughter, Bella. The insider added, “Nicole was in London all summer, and she spent a ton of time with Bella while she was there. Nicole’s been back on good terms with them for a few years now.”
(This totally checks out when you remember Bella follows Kidman and Urban’s daughter Sunday Rose on social media, and has given some sweet messages of support throughout!)
So it seems throughout all of this, Kidman has another ally!
It’s unclear if her adopted son Connor has been in contact with her in recent years, especially given his involvement in the Church of Scientology.
