Dakota Johnson is dishing on being longtime friends with Madonna!
The 35-year-old Splitsville actress opened up in a new interview about their years-long friendship, after first meeting when she was young.
“I really love her,” she shared with E! News. “We’ve been, like, weird friends for a while.”

“I met her when I was really young, because she did a movie with my stepfather,” Dakota added. “And then I got to know her later because we were gonna work together on something.”
If you didn’t know, Dakota‘s former stepdad Antonio Banderas co-starred in the 1996 movie Evita with Madonna.
“We’ve always kind of circled each other,” she said of Madonna. “But she is like an energy to be near that is so beautiful and so wild. It’s just cool that she even wants to talk to me.”
