The player from the Wee County bought their winning Quick Pick ticket online on Friday, October 17.

Successfully matching all six numbers, the player came away with an impressive €7,129,505.

The winning numbers were 6, 13, 14, 27, 35 and 44, with the Bonus number 47.

The online winner also becomes the eighth Lotto jackpot winner of 2025, joining a line-up from Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Kilkenny, Mayo, Waterford, and now twice from Louth.

The National Lottery said it has sent a notification and email to the online player, and has asked them to respond by calling 1800 666 222 or to write to claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of their prize.

The previous winner from Louth claimed a jackpot prize of €4,642,646 in January when a Centra store on the Platin Road in Drogheda sold the winning ticket.
