GARDAI have confirmed that an appeal for a 14-year old girl – who was reported missing in Limerick city since Friday, October 10 – has been stood down. 

Yelizavieta Pronina, from Limerick city, was reported missing last weekend, sparking an urgent nationwide appeal.

Amid concerns for her wellbeing, gardaí sought help from members of the public in locating Yelizavieta, who had been seen on Friday, October 10 in Galway city centre.

In an update issued late on Saturday night, a garda spokesperson said that Yelizavieta Pronina has been located “safe and well” and that no further action is required. 

A garda spokesperson said: “An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.”
