Al-Harbi has led the Madinah Health Cluster since 2023, managing assets worth over $1.33 billion. The cluster includes 180 facilities, with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical City as its flagship tertiary complex. Between 2023 and 2025, the cluster activated 168 new outpatient clinics. He oversaw the completion of Jazan Specialty Hospital, Al-Darb Hospital, Jazan General Hospital, and Al-Aridah Hospital, as well as rehabilitation and addiction centers in Jazan. Al-Harbi previously served as director general of health affairs in the Jazan region and the Alqurayyat governorate.
