Here is all you need to know about disruptions to Irish Rail services this weekend

Those who have plans this bank holiday weekend may want to check their train timetables as a number of DART services will be suspended due to works.
Irish Rail will under take a series of works across the weekend, including overhead line renewal, track and crossover renewal, bridge works, vegetation management and enabling works for battery-electric infrastructure. This means there will be no DART services between Connolly and Howth/Malahide from Saturday, October 25 to Monday, October 27.
Dublin Bus and GoAhead will accept rail tickets to/from affected areas. DART services will operate between Connolly and Greystones.
Additionally, there will be no Commuter rail services between Dublin and Drogheda. A limited bus replacement service will operate between:
- Dublin Connolly and Donabate, Balbriggan and Drogheda
- Dublin Connolly and Rush & Lusk and Skerries
Bus transfers will operate between Dublin and Drogheda for all Enterprise services, to a revised timetable.
Customers are advised to check times before travel, with full details at www.irishrail.ie and at the Iarnród Éireann app for Saturday to Monday. There will be additional services for UEFA Women’s Nations League Ireland v Belgium, Aviva Stadium, on Friday, October 24.
Extra DART services will operate after full time. However, the DART will not serve Grand Canal Dock for the end of the match (8.25pm to 10pm) as part of event crowd management arrangements.
There will also be additional services for United Rugby Championship, Leinster v Zebre, Aviva Stadium on Saturday, October 25:
- Extra DART services will operate before and after the match.
- Please note DARTs will not serve Grand Canal Dock for the end of the match (6.50pm to 8.30pm) as part of event crowd management arrangements.
Irish Rail will put additional services in place for the Dublin Marathon on october 26. Extra services will operate as follows:
- 6:50am Maynooth to Dublin Pearse, serving all stations
- 7am Greystones to Dublin Connolly, serving all stations
