As for Black Panther, Sneider said he believes he knows Marvel Studios has already eyed select actors to play T’Challa, the role formerly played by the late Chadwick Boseman. Sneider noted he doesn’t believe that Damson Idris, a popular choice amongst fans, would be given the role, but instead believes the guy who could end up getting the role is David Jonsson, who starred in Alien: Romulus and is set to star in the upcoming The Longest Walk.
Plot details for Black Panther 3 remain under wraps at this time. Coogler has said that he’s creating a role for Denzel Washington in the film, though it’s unclear who he might be playing.
It is known that Shuri/Black Panther star Letitia Wright will be in Avengers: Doomsday, which arrives in December 2026 and is currently in production. Winston Duke’s M’Baku and Tenoch Huerta Mejía’s Namor, the latter of whom was the main villain of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will also star in the film.
As for X-Men, there’s no real news on when that film will release. Rumors suggest the project could come some time shortly after Avengers: Secret Wars, but that has yet to be confirmed. Jake Schreier is set to direct the film for Marvel Studios.
