Malaika Arora is known for her upfront approach to life, handling trolls, facing backlash, and much more. Recently, in an interview, the actress spoke about social media, her thoughts on being labeled ‘buddhi,’ and how she deals with online trolling.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika Arora expressed, “For me ‘buddhiya’. I mean how can you even say something like that to somebody. Kabhi Kabhi ye trigger karta hai. because bahaut hi insensitive hai. Because they see only that (brave) persona. They’ll see ‘khush lag rahi hai’ but they don’t realise that there are so many things that can actually trigger you, upset you.”

The actress further continued to mention how she handles the social media trolls, saying, “I feel that you should take these things as examples where you want to turn around and say ‘people go ahead to say what you want to say, I will be better than that’. I will prove to you that I can be better and I can probably do anything and everything under the sun.

Malaika Arora says her son is her backbone

Malaika mentioned her saying being her biggest supporter, “One of my biggest supporters is my son. He’s always like ‘what’s the big deal mom, if somebody’s saying that its fine. Why are you letting it affect you or upset you?’

“Uske baad mere khud ke dimaag me jo mechanism hai to deal with situations, that kicks in and then ‘lets move forward, put this behind me’,” she concluded.

Malaika Arora dropped out of Saif Ali Khan 2012 Hotel case

Malaika Arora has been dropped out as witness on Wednesday, after she failed to support the prosecution in Saif Ali Khan 2012 hotel-case where he is allegedly accused to threaten a businessman and punch him in the nose while they were dining at the Taj Hotel.

Malaika had applied for cancellation of the warrant after appearing before Chief Judicial Magistrate (Esplanade Court), K S Zanwar. In April, the court issued a bailable warrant after she failed to appear and record her testimony as a witness. The matter is scheduled for August 22.
