“I remember the very day my mam told me about Britain’s Got Talent. I was sitting at my kitchen island after school, and she said, ‘Oh I saw on Facebook today that Britain’s Got Talent are accepting auditions by tape, and they’re closing tomorrow’.
She asked if she could send in a video of me singing. I was 14 at the time and being like a typical moody teenager. I said ‘oh, there’s no point. I’ll ever get anywhere. I don’t even watch it’.
