2153 ET – Bumrungrad Hospital’s earnings growth is likely to be slow, Thanachart Securities’ Siriporn Arunothai says in a research report. The brokerage sees higher uncertainty over the Thai hospital’s Middle East patient flows owing to cost-control policies by the region’s governments and intensifying competition from peers. Its new hospital in Phuket, along with three new buildings planned in Bangkok in 2027, will probably contribute losses in the early years of operation. Bumrungrad Hospital is expected to post slow growth in the years ahead, with the brokerage projecting 3.4% EPS CAGR over 2026-2028. It downgrades the stock to hold from buy and lowers the target price to THB187.00 from THB216.00. Shares last closed at THB176.00. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
