The annual Letterkenny Busking Festival is back tomorrow, bringing music, entertainment, and fun to the town’s Main Street.

Now in its 10th year, this much-loved event attracts talented performers from a wide range of genres creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy. From 1.30pm to 3.00pm, Main Street will come alive with music and performance.
Buskers will sing, play, and entertain, with everything from folk and rock to rap, jazz, and even magic acts. The crowd’s cheers make all the difference so come along, soak up the festival vibe, and show your support.
Over the years, the festival has seen both seasoned performers and fresh new talent take the stage. Some, like last year’s winners Tessio, have even gone on to perform professionally.
“We’re really looking forward to this year’s festival,” said Jimmy Stafford, President of Letterkenny Chamber, which organises the event through its ShopLK brand.
“The festival brings entertainment, music, and fun to the streets, and it’s always exciting to discover hidden talent among the performers”.
This year’s competition offers a top prize of €500, with more cash prizes up for grabs—so expect strong performances as buskers compete for the top prize.
The prize-giving will take place at Blake’s Bar at 3.30pm, with live entertainment beforehand. Everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations.
Funded by Donegal County Council’s Retail Promotion Initiative, the Letterkenny Busking Festival showcases the creativity and skill of performers from across the region and beyond.
