Wexford champions St Martin’s booked their spot in the Leinster senior hurling final this afternoon, overcoming Kildare kingpins Naas in a comfortable fashion at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
St Martin’s came into the fixture as big favourites, with it being expected that they would have too much firepower for their opponents. That turned out to be the case, with the Wexford club racing into a 0-15 to 0-5 halftime lead.

Naas were never able to recover from that position, with the game eventually finishing with a scoreline of 0-21 to 0-11. Their cause was also not aided by a red card awarded to one of their players in the second half.

Certainly a deserved red card.
This result ensures that a Wexford club will compete in the Leinster club final for the first time since 2015, with Ballyhale Shamrocks awaiting St Martin’s in the decider.
The Kilkenny champions booked their place in final after they overcame a resilient Clough-Ballacolla side in their semi-final meeting at Nowlan Park, emerging victorious on a scoreline of 1-18 to 1-15. Henry Shefflin’s side will be aiming to win a first provincial crown since 2022.
This will be the first occasion that St Martin’s have reached the Leinster showpiece, having previously competed in the competition on four other occasions.
