Plans for Ireland’s first winter sports arena in Dublin have been described as a “once-in-a-generation project” that could deliver €298m a year to the economy.
The proposed €190m facility, set for Cherrywood in south Dublin, aims to reshape winter sports, including ice hockey and international events, in the capital.
