Sheila Bradley (née Hutton), Derry

The death has taken place of the late Sheila Bradley (née Hutton), August 23 2025, peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home (formerly of Southway), beloved wife of the late Seamus, loving mother of Shelley, mother-in-law of Shaun, devoted grandmother of Emma, Aine and Lauren, beloved daughter of the late Sadie and Eddie Hutton (20 Blucher Street) dear and loving sister of Jim, Marie, George, Peter, Tony and the late Eddie, John, Ann and Kathleen. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and her many friends. Sheila will be reposing at her daughter’s home, 1 Sandbank Park. Family time please from 10:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving 1 Sandbank Park on Monday, August 25 at 11:50am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her. Sr. Clare pray for her.

Eileen McCarthy (née Kelly), Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Eileen McCarthy (née Kelly), August 22 2025, peacefully at Edenballymore Lodge Care Home, surrounded by her loving family, (formerly of Barry Street), loving wife of the late John, mother of Christine, Mary and Patricia, grandmother and great-grandmother, daughter of the late Jim and Cissie and sister of the late May, Veronica, Kathleen, Olive and James. Sadly missed by the wider family circle. Eileen will be reposing at her daughter Mary’s home, 15 Liscannor Park, Foyle Springs. Family time please from 11:00pm to 11:00am. Funeral leaving 15 Liscannnor Park on Monday, August 25 at 9:20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if wished, to Residents’ Comfort Fund, Edenballymore Lodge, Northland Road, Derry. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

Goergina (Georgie) McGlone (née Crossett), 30 Glenelly Villas, Draperstown

We regret to inform you of the death of Goergina (Georgie) McGlone (née Crossett), late of 30 Glenelly Villas, Draperstown at Antrim Area Hospital on Friday, August 22 2025. Beloved Wife of the late Paddy, cherished Mother of Helena, Martina (Robert Jeffery), Gina (Sean Campbell), Shauneen (Brendan Duffy) , and of the late Pat (Paddy) and Sinead. Grandmother of Seán-Patrick, Sinead, Dónal, Meadhbh and Dáirine. Daughter of the late Robert and Georgina, sister of Marie Bradley, Madge McCullagh, Patricia Toner, Herbie, Marian Rocks 22 and the late Annie, Evelyn, Philomena, Oliver, Davy and Robbie. Funeral from her late home on Sunday, August 24 at 11:30am for Requiem Mass at 12noon in St.Eugenes Church Moneyneana. Burial in adjoining Cemetery afterwards. St.Pio pray for her.
