At Blackpink’s Singapore concert over the weekend, member Lalisa Manobal a.k.a. Lisa was spotted wearing a cute pair of silver ballet sneakers made by Filipino brand GVN Label.
On Instagram, the proudly Pinoy brand couldn’t be happier.
“We are at a loss for words,” GVN said as it posted photos and videos of Lisa wearing their shoes from the Singapore show.
GVN also narrated how someone from the K-pop girl group reached out to them ahead of Blackpink’s Philippine concert “to ask if they could do a pull-out of our ballet sneakers.”
“We were skeptical at first because it was too good to be true,” the label admitted, “but we wanted to shoot our shot and see what could happen!”
While GVN remained hopeful, they said they didn’t expect anything from the transaction.
Until a week later, when “we were sent this — footage of Lisa wearing the wallet sneakers,” GVN narrated excitedly.
“We honestly still can’t believe it! Truly a pinch-me moment,” GVN said.
Lisa wore GVN’s ballet sneakers in chrome. It is one of four colors of GVN’s ballet sneakers line and costs P2,900 according to the website.
All four ballet sneakers are available for pre-order, with GVN able to ship worldwide.
Apart from shoes, GVN also makes leather bags as well as laptop sleeves.
Ballet sneakers, or sneakerinas was among the top fashion trends of 2025.
