Aisling O’Sullivan.
Aisling O’Sullivan is a well-known lover of music and song in her native south Kerry where the Coláiste na Sceilge pupil is counting down the minutes until her appearance on Friday night’s Late Late Toy Show.
The 15-year-old third year student is set for a quick appearance on what is one of the most eagerly awaited television shows in the year.
She will make her appearance along with a group of other children. However, the song she has chosen to sing is a closely guarded secret so you’ll just have to tune in to hear it for yourself.
It’s an exciting time for Aisling’s family as her parents, Sinead and Con, siblings Tadhg, Sadhbh, and grandparents Pat and Kathleen have cancelled all plans for this Friday evening to watch Aisling do what she does best.
The girl from Over the Water in Cahersiveen has won many medals with Foilmore Comhaltas, St Marys Scór and Cahersiveen Community Games, singing for local events, county events and national competitions.
She released a CD in 2024 and, along with her busking on the streets of Cahersiveen raising money, Aisling was able to donate €1,000 to Dromid Cancer Care Support, and Carr Cúram Ailse na Dromoda.
“We are all absolutely thrilled for Aisling,” said mom Sinead.
“She loves performing and this is one stage she is looking forward to. It will be something knew, but she knows it’s a great honour for her. She has the support and backing of her family, her school, and the entire south Kerry community,” Sinead said.
