Kim Matula and Alex FitzAlan have joined the Season 2 cast of Netflix‘s “The Hunting Wives.”

Matula will play Nadia Kelly and FitzAlan will play Lincoln Trout, though details about their characters are not yet known.

They join returning stars Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery and Branton Box.

Set in East Texas, “The Hunting Wives” follows (Sophie O’Neil) as she and her family “move from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she succumbs to socialite Margo’s (Akerman) irresistible charms – and finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction and murder,” per the official logline. In Season 2, “Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”

Matula’s TV credits include the CBS soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful,” the Lifetime dramedy “Unreal” and the Fox comedy “L.A. to Vegas.” In 2024, she played Jane Curtin in the Jason Reitman film “Saturday Night.”

FitzAlan has appeared in Season 2 of the Amazon Prime Video series “The WIlds” and in the films “Slender Man” and “Chevavlier.”

Produced by Lionsgate, “The Hunting Wives” was created by Rebecca Cutter, who also serves as showrunner. She executive produces alongside Cobb and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Erwin Stoff.

Season 1 of “The Hunting Wives” was originally set to air on Starz before Netflix licensed it from Lionsgate, though Season 2 will be branded as a Netflix original. The season is now in production, with additional casting to be announced at a later date.
