Two best friends captured the hearts of the entire nation on The Late Late Toy Show tonight after a sweet display of kindness.

Best mates for years Keelan and Dylan, both aged 10, left viewers in tears after the heartwarming display of friendship on Friday night’s toy extravaganza.

Keelan has Tourette’s and got a little bit teary eyed when the nerves got the better of him. In one of the most heartwarming moments of this year’s Toy Show, best friend Dylan, put his arm around his friend and told him he was going to be okay – even host Patrick Kielty was fighting back the tears.

The two lads carried on and were asked to sing a song each. Keelan sang Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi. True to Toy Show tradition, Kielty then introduced Capaldi, who also has Tourette’s, who recorded a video message for the lads and invited them to spend some time with him when he comes to play Marley Park in June next year. Keelan was in tears again and despite his best efforts Dylan started to cry happy tears too.

But the good news didn’t stop there for the two lads because Republic of Ireland legend Roy Keane surprised them on stage and gave them some support as they attempted to win toys for less fortunate children for Christmas.

The sweet moment captured viewers hearts, who jumped to social media to praise the pair and call them heroes.

One viewer penned: “Dylan’s parents have raised an amazing young lad looking out for his friend like that.”

“Keelan and Dylan I’ve a tear I genuinely do I don’t even know them and I’m proud of them,” another shared.

One more added: “Keelan you absolute hero!! And Dylan you absolute hero also!!”

“Omg stop, Keelan crying because of his nerves has me bawling,” another said.

A fifth agreed: “Oh keelan I think we have our king of the toy show won already.”
