Family and friends of I’m Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestants gave them a welcome boost in tonight’s episode when they dropped into the jungle camp. One was the sister of EastEnders actor Shona McGarty, but what else do we know about Camilla?
Sharing an emotional reunion in the jungle, Shona ran to meet her sister down at the creek, jumping to greet her and give her a massive hug. After Camilla joked, “you smell like a foot – I’m just gonna say!”; Shona then cried, saying: “I can’t believe you’re here!”
The sisters gleefully compared their matching tattoos, before a tearful Shona told her sibling: “You have no idea just how much I needed you today.”
Camilla was evidently proud of sister’s jungle journey, saying: “I know at first, you overthink… But once you found your people that was it, you were literally like the crazy Shona that we all know! Even they’re calling you Shinty McGinty now!”
After being quizzed regarding who she was getting on best with, Shona replied: “Aitch.” Camilla then had a playful idea for post-jungle life, suggesting: “You have to get Aitch round. We need a kitchen karaoke session!”

Speaking about her sister’s appearance in the jungle, Shona, who played Whitney Dean on EastEnders, added: “I think this is the best surprise I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously! Without her, I would not have been able to do anything.”
But as we got a major glimpse of the pair’s bond in the jungle, just who is Shona McGarty’s sister Camilla?
Camilla has become something of a mini-celebrity herself during the season as she helps to fly the flag of support for Shona during her time on the long-running ITV reality show.
She’s been seen making appearances on various news and chat shows including that of Lorraine Kelly, primarily to talk about her sister and why she deserves to win.

Fans think the pair look alike – there is only ten-and-a-half months between them in age – and Shona, 34, says Camilla, 33, is her best friend.
She often posts on Shona’s behalf, sharing family pride and support for her sister’s bravery in facing challenges like anxiety.
She helped to highlight Shona’s authentic personality, contrasting it with her EastEnders character, and praised her courage in discussing anxiety.

She and Shona’s mother, Amy, often pair up to post messages on Shona’s Instagram, and the three clearly share a close bond, evidenced by the fact that they describe themselves as inseparable.
