Halle Berry put a NSFW twist on business casual dressing as she advocated for menopause legislation during her latest appearance. On Friday, the X-Men actress took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of her outing at The New York Times DealBook Summit this week, delivering an empowering speech while tapping into the office siren trend.
“When you’ve run out of f*cks but not out of fight. Thank you @nytdealbook for the space and the conversation. Let’s go ladies. Let’s get LOUD because we deserve it!” Berry captioned her video, which featured behind-the-scenes moments from her lecture. The Respin Health founder gave a power suit a sexy update as she ditched her top under her ultra-plunging navy blue blazer. Berry’s structured jacket featured wide lapels and exaggerated boxy shoulders, contrasting the waist-cinching design. The blazer, which was held together by a single gold button on the front, also featured rows of gold buttons on the slightly cropped sleeves.
Berry paired her revealing jacket with a pair of wide-legged navy blue dress slacks and a pair of pointy-toed black leather heels. The Monster’s Ball alum wore her chin-length bob in a side-parted style with defined curls, emphasizing her auburn highlights. She added some shine (and drew attention to her plunging neckline) with her jewelry. Berry paired a gold chain link choker with a dainty gold lariat necklace that dipped all the way to her stomach. The star finished off her look with sunset-inspired matte eyeshadow, a mauve lipstick, and a berry flush on her cheekbones.

Berry has been open about her journeys with perimenopause and menopause, previously calling this next stage a “rebirth” in an interview with Marie Claire. Revealing that aging has brought about a shift in her mindset, the 59-year-old star explained that she feels “better and stronger than I did when I was in my 20s. I feel like I’m now at the pinnacle.”

“I’m now usually one of the oldest people in every room I walk in and that’s a good feeling … I don’t have to worry about appeasing everybody in the room, or care about everybody else’s egos, or their insecurities, or give them what they’re wanting from me if it’s not what I’m wanting to give them. My daughter says, ‘Don’t ask mom, because she’s got no fucks to give. Don’t ask her unless you want the answer for real,’” Berry added.
