Meanwhile, Google seems to be clearing out its inventory of 256GB Pixel 10 Pros. Here’s how we know – they are discounted by an extra $50 compared to the other storage capacities. A note on the 128GB Pixel 10 Pro – it uses slower UFS 3.1 chips. The Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at 256GB, so it doesn’t have such issues.

Samsung has released a new series of microSD Express cards under the “P9 Express” branding. Nintendo Switch 2 owners know what this is about – these cards use the PCIe protocol to hit higher transfer speeds (up to 800MB/s read speeds!) than UHS-I cards. These are basically microscopic SSDs. Now, if only smartphones would adopt this standard…
