A pedestrian, aged in his 70s, has died following a road collision in Foxrock, Dublin 18 yesterday.
The single-vehicle collision between a car and a male pedestrian occurred on the N11 at around 6.45pm.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The coroner has been notified and his body has been removed to Dublin City Mortuary where a post-mortem examination will take place.
No other injuries were reported.
The scene was examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 6:30pm and 7:00pm on Monday, 8th December 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
