Young Sheldon fans are loving the surprising reunion between Iain Armitage and Danielle Pinnock on the set of Ghosts.

For seven seasons, the 17-year-old captivated viewers with the quirky intellect, charm and endearing innocence of his character Sheldon Cooper.

In the comedy sitcom, fans not only saw his deep love for his family but also his often cheeky and straightforward behavior towards his Medford High School teachers, among them his math teacher, Ms. Ingram, played by Pinnock.

With Armitage returning to CBS, fans have been gushing over his newly announced cameo on the network’s hit series.

Moreover, excitement grew even more after a surprise video surfaced featuring his former co-star.

In an Instagram update shared by Pinnock, she posted a video with the actor lip-synching to the popular TikTok trend “We’re From the Same Place,” taken from an interview with celebrity stylist Law Roach.

The video featured the actress in character as she played Alberta Haynes, the flamboyant jazz singer from the 1920s and a central figure among the ghosts haunting the Woodstone Mansion.

“@iain and I are reunited and it feels so good. From #YoungSheldon to @ghostscbs. My, how time flies! Welcome to Woodstone Mansion Iain,” she captioned her post.

Social media quickly lit up as fans expressed excitement over seeing the actors share the screen once again. Moreover, fans could not wait to see Armitage’s highly anticipated cameo.

“I am so beyond excited for this episode!!!” one wrote.

“OMG!!!! I can’t wait!” another echoed.

Fans were also thrilled about the Young Sheldon crossover.

“Let’s go Young Sheldon reunion!!!” a commenter said.

The same goes for another who noted, “I love this mini reunion!”

Last week, Variety confirmed that Armitage will join the Ghosts cast for a special role and will appear as a “heightened version of himself, taking part in a high-stakes poker game at the mansion.”

His appearance is scheduled to air on the April 16, 2026 episode.

According to the young actor, being part of the series was his “dream” and he “can’t wait” to be at Woodstone.

“Dreams can come true! I’ve loved this show since the beginning and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at Woodstone!! CAN’T WAIT!!!!!” he commented on a post shared by Ghosts’ official Instagram account.

Besides Armitage, the CBS series has also featured iconic guests, including American Pie star Tara Reid in Season 2, where she played the role of a ’90s movie star.
