The documentary about priesthood prominently features the late Fr Kevin McNamara

Moyvane and late Kerry priest Fr Kevin McNamara are heavily featured in a documentary film that will be screened in the North Kerry village next week.
Marian Hall in Moyvane will hold a special screening of ‘Sins of Ireland’ on Friday, September 5 in aid of the local development association.
The film is the feature version of ‘The Confessors’, a documentary about priesthood which prominently featured the late Fr McNamara, former parish priest of Moyvane, and the village itself.
It aired on RTÉ in 2020 and received much acclaim.
Director of the documentary, Alex Fegan, will be present on the night of the screening and a questions and answers session with him will follow the showing of the film.
The event promises to be a great night out and all proceeds will go to Moyvane Development Association.
The screening is sponsored by by Kennelly’s Homevalue, Enright’s Bar and Fast Fix Doors and tickets for the event cost €12 each for adults and €10 each for students.
