Last four standing. And by Sunday evening, that number will have been whittled down to two. But, as it stands, our surviving ‘Fab Four’ have shared the princely total of one AIB All-Ireland club senior hurling title between them.

That team was Ballygunner, thanks to the wonder of Harry ‘Houdini’ Ruddle almost four years ago. The fact that they are currently odds-on favourites to land the Tommy Moore Cup again in January tells you a few things.
