With a triangular camera module and a display that is rounded toward the left and right sides, the Tecno Pova Curve 2 is a pretty unusual mid-range smartphone. The handset is also intended to stand out with an 8,000mAh battery and a 144Hz AMOLED display.

The Tecno Pova Curve 2 has already been revealed in high resolution render images published by Xpertpick. According to these, the mid-range smartphone features an unusual design with a silver chassis, orange color accents and a triangular camera module that’s somewhat similar to the Fairphone 5.

This camera module houses two lenses and an LED flash. Moreover, there is a transparent triangle in the lower right corner on the back. The display is sharply curved toward the left and right edges, which is meant to give the mid-range smartphone a more modern look. The Tecno Pova Curve 2 is further said to offer attractive specs with a massive 8,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The 6.78-inch display is reportedly based on an AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 ARM chipset, which is not yet available, reportedly powers the new Tecno smartphone. It is accompanied by 8GB to 12GB RAM and 128GB to 256GB of storage. Tecno seems to have opted for a 13MP selfie camera, 50MP main camera and a 2MP sensor. The Tecno Pova Curve 2 is allegedly equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster and Dolby Atmos support. Additionally, the chassis is IP64 certified and is therefore not completely waterproof. Either way, the mid-range smartphone is expected to ship with HiOS 16 based on Android 16, but it’s unclear when it will launch and how much it will cost.
