About the “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction” special

Following the official event — livestreamed on Disney+ the night of Saturday, November 8 — ABC is replaying the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony as a TV special scheduled to air at 8 p.m. ET on New Year’s Day. The recording once again recognizes the new inductees, welcoming Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes as Performers; with Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevo in the Musical Influence category; and Nicky Hopkins, Carol Kaye, and Thom Bell representing Musical Excellence. Lenny Waronker also received the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The ABC music event features standout moments from the star-studded ceremony, including appearances by Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Elton John, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Missy Elliott, Olivia Rodrigo, Questlove, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims, Twenty One Pilots, Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Chappell Roan, Donald Glover, En Vogue, Feist, Gina Schock, Hurby Luv Bug Azor, Janelle Monáe, Jerry Cantrell, Jim Carrey, Joe Perry, The Killers, Lisa Coleman, Mick Fleetwood, Mike McCready, Nancy Wilson, Nathaniel Rateliff, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Tyler, the Creator.
