Public urged to remain vigilant and ensure cars are locked with no valuables on display

Gardai are investigating after three vehicles were broken into in Gorey.
Gardaí in Wexford are reminding people to stay vigilant after a number of vehicles were broken into in Gorey and the surrounding area.
Two vehicles were reported broken into by residents living in Ounavarra Park in Ballycanew. The incidents took place overnight on Monday, December 29, in which a number of small items were stolen from both cars.
In addition to this, a third vehicle was also broken into on Monday night which was parked in the Amber Springs Hotel located at Knockmullen, Gorey.
The van was broken into by force, by cutting through the rear sliding door to gain access to the van. A number of power tools were reported stolen from the van.
Following this, gardaí are urging the public to ensure their vehicles are locked at all times, and to remove any valuable items when leaving a car parked overnight.
