Allied Irish Bank (AIB) has resolved an issue which had led to customers operating from Android phones to experience technical difficulties earlier today.
In an updated statement, the bank said: “AIB has resolved an issue which impacted customers using Android devices logging into our mobile app and online banking earlier today.
“All services are working as normal and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Customers with any queries can contact us on 0818 724 724.
Customers using Android were unable to login to the app and online and were unable to have some online transactions authenticated for a period of time.
