Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home, on Friday, 2nd January 2026.
Beloved husband of Joan, his treasured wife and best friend.
Much-loved father to Eileen (Greg), Billy (Breda), Brian (Campon), Sinead, Keith (Cora), Nicholas (Amy) and Joseph (Anna).
Adored granddad to Matthew, Christine, Killian, Elizabeth, Laura, Sommer, Ethan, Carla, Caitlin, Eoin, Sophie, Aubrey, Eric, Holly. And great-granddad to Jack, Theo, Lauren, Jayden, Aaron, Sarah-Louise, Liam.
Sadly missed by his sisters Hilary and Pauline. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary and by his siblings Larry, Vera, Kathleen, Liam and John. Missed by his niece and nephews, sisters-in-law Marie, Kathy, Marie and Eileen and brothers-in-law Michael, Patsy and Sean. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, extended family and friends.
Joan would like to extend her thanks to all their neighbours especially Ger and Marissa who have been a tremendous support particularly in her hour of need.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick on Tuesday, 6th January, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, with removal afterwards to St. Lelia’s Church, Kileely Road.
Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday, 7th January, with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret.
