A teenager in Kerry has been airlifted to hospital for treatment following a serious farm accident near Sneem.
It is understood that the teenager was injured in an incident with a tractor on land off the main Sneem to Molls Gap road.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the accident around 12pm today. The Air Ambulance was tasked and the youth was brought by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
In a statement Gardaí said they attended a workplace incident on a property in Sneem, today, Monday, January 5.
The incident occurred at approximately 12.15pm.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
