Four men have been arrested after a number of incidents of criminal damage were carried out at properties in Newport and Westport, Co Mayo on Sunday.
The damage involved the breaking of windows at these properties.
Two men in their 20s and two men in their late teens were arrested by gardaí.
They are currently being held at garda stations in Mayo.
It is believed that the incidents are linked to drug-related intimidation.
Gardaí say that investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
