Ireland is to vote against the controversial Mercosur trade deal, the Taoiseach and Tánaiste have confirmed.

Ahead of the vote at EU level which is expected tomorrow, cracks were emerging within the Coalition, with Independents in Government, including Minister of State Michael Healy Rae stating Ireland should vote against the deal.
